Eighth Intensive Course in CSR 2014 Aligned With ISO 26000 to be Implemented in September in Costa Rica

AED, wants to provide companies in Costa Rica with tools to incorporate CSR into their business. In order to fulfill this commitment, every year AED offers an Intensive Course in CSR for consultants and executives at the managerial level, with support form Forum Empresa-Red Americana de RSE, IDB and OAS, following the guidelines established in a project to Promote CSR , that was implemented at a regional level in Latin America.

The Intensive Course in CSR is one of the most sought out trainings in Costa Rica.

The initial material used in the course design were developed by KPMG Canada, Allen White of Tellus Institute and Celina Pagani Tousignant , President of  Normisur International and faculty at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.

Following the methodology set by Forum Empresa, Red Americana de RSE, the course has been taught in four countries, Brazil, Peru, Chile and El Salvador.

The course is geared towards directors and executives of national and international companies, consultants and representatives from other organizations interested in the topic.

The course offers a concrete methodology on how to implement CSR initiatives while promoting good relationships with the stakeholders, and it includes practical individual and group exercises about national and international cases.

Presenter

Celina Pagani-Tousignant, global expert in CSR and president of Normisur International, has been teaching the intensive Course in CSR since 2007. Celina trained more than 250 participants over the years. The eighth version of this course that follows the OSI 26000 guidelines will be implemented the week from September 1 to September 5, 2014 in San Jose de Costa Rica, Costa Rica.
