Celina Pagani-Tousignant, President of Normisur International, was invited to participate as an ambassador in a program entitled “Komunumo” for RSE Venezuela.  The purpose of the program is provide information to people in nine countries of successful social responsibility, sustainability and entrepreneurial initiatives using virtual tools. Celina in her role as Komunumo Ambassador has been the central figure in December. She supported the campaign entitled “Women at the Top” through interviews and a video that were published on the Komunumo webpage, a tone hour tweet chat about “The Empowerment of Women in Latin America”, and messages in social networks.

During the tweet chat, Celina provided global and local statistics about the gender gap at the workplace, the challenges ahead, actions companies can take to close the gap, and steps for women to accelerate their own advancement.

Celina Pagani-Tousignant, President of Normisur International, implemented for the eight time a two day workshop entitled: “From Awareness to Action: How to Implement CSR in SMEs” in Manizales, Colombia for 20 Colombian SMEs.  Normisur International designed the workshop following the request from OAS to offer a strategic planning process for SMEs owners, as well as the key elements of the business case for CSR.

Since 2011, The Mongolian Office of GIZ has been promoting the CSR concept among private and state-owned companies as a way to ensure good corporate governance. Normisur International has been part of the creation of the CSR framework in Mongolia since 2012. Celina Pagani-Tousignant, president of Normisur International has been invited to return to Mongolia for the sixth time to provide consulting services on a variety of CSR topics. Here is a list of services provided by Normisur International:

a) Three hour lecture for students of public administration and professors at the National University of Mongolia on “CSR and Public administrators”

b) One day Train the Trainer session for CSR consultants on “How to Apply the ISO 26000 In the Company”

The Dean of the Graduate School of International Studies at Seoul National University is very interested in bringing the latest information about CSR to students and faculty. He invited Celina Pagani-Tousignant, President of Normisur International and a highly regarded expert in the field of CSR, to give a seminar on “Where is CSR Going? Challenges and Trends”. The audience will be comprised of graduate students and faculty from the Latin American Area studies, entrepreneurs, and representatives from the Korean Chambers of Commerce

Celina has been giving lectures in Asia since 2004. This is the first time she will give a lecture on CSR in South Korea.

Celina Pagani-Tousignant, President of Normisur International was invited to participate as executive coach in the Faculty Leadership Program at the UCSF Department of Orthopedic Surgery. This is a four months development program  for junior physicians. The program consists of four intensive day workshops on leadership topics and four coaching sessions.

Celina is currently coaching three physicians. With her coaching, Celina prepares these physicians to become leader capable of guiding their workgroups with vision and strategy.

The Faculty Leadership Program is a customized version of the “Institute for Physician Program” from the UCSF Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

The promotion of sustainability and social responsibility among public and private organizations, as well as organizations belonging to civic society is a key topic for the United States Embassy in Venezuela.

Since 2008, Celina Pagani-Tousignant President of Normisur International and corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability expert, has traveled to Venezuela invited by the Public Affairs Department of the United States Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela to implement courses for CSR consultants, workshops, conferences and presentations on a variety of CSR topics for diverse audiences in Caracas and Valencia.  Over the years, the Embassy has worked with local allies to organize the activities that take place during Celina’s trip. Montevideo, Uruguay July 2014/Panama City, Panama, September 2014

Celina Pagani-Tousignant, President of Normisur International, implemented for the sixth time a two day workshop entitled: “From Awareness to Action: How to Implement CSR in SMEs” in Montevideo Uruguay for 15 Uruguayan SMEs.  Normisur International designed the workshop following the request from OAS to offer a strategic planning process for SMEs owners, as well as the key elements of the business case for CSR.

It is a big challenge to work with SMEs because first it is necessary to convince the owner of the value CSR brings to the business and then added and then to offer simple practical tools that are easy to implement. The workshop was very successful in Uruguay and it will be replicated for Panamanian SMEs at the end of September 2014.

San José de Costa Rica, September 1-5, 2014

AED, wants to provide companies in Costa Rica with tools to incorporate CSR into their business. In order to fulfill this commitment, every year AED offers an Intensive Course in CSR for consultants and executives at the managerial level, with support form Forum Empresa-Red Americana de RSE, IDB and OAS, following the guidelines established in a project to Promote CSR , that was implemented at a regional level in Latin America.

The Intensive Course in CSR is one of the most sought out trainings in Costa Rica.

The initial material used in the course design were developed by KPMG Canada, Allen White of Tellus Institute and Celina Pagani Tousignant , President of  Normisur International and faculty at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.

Since 2007, Celina Pagani-Tousignant, President of Normisur International has participated as executive coach in the Clinic Leadership Institute (CLI), at the Center for The Health Professions, University of California. She is currently coaching 10 individuals belonging to cohorts 6 and 7. With her coaching, Celina prepares emerging leaders of California community clinics and health centers to be effective and passionate agents of change in an evolving health care environment.
